does anyone make anything like this?
So I've been looking at other cars and was wondering if anyone has ever seen anything made like this for the camaro.

No one currently has a shift gate out like that for the 5th gen.
a few companies have talked about making one however.

What is the purpose and / or benefit of the gates? A comment was made above about it slowing down the shifting, which it seems it would. I have never driven a car with them, so that is why I ask.
