Carbon Fiber Hood test fit pic's.

I was contacted by RK Sport to test fit their new carbon fiber hood for the 2010 Camaro. I went by on Friday and checked out what they had going on and was very happy to help them out. I got a sneak peak at a Camaro 5 member from Texas's car that they are doing for SEMA and all I can say is I wish I could have taken that spot! That car is going to look AWESOME!!!!! Anyway, they did a direct replacement carbon fiber hood for our beloved Camaro's and it should be available shortly. As soon as I hear about final cost I'll pass it along. They also have several other very cool concepts coming down the pipe that are

So, without any further ado, I present Cammy sporting RK Sport's carbonfiber hood!

I have to say, this is another one of those "picks don't do it justice" moments. I can't wait for the production model!

I'm not sure what they would approve of me leaking out. They are pretty much doing EVERYTHING that you could imagine being done to the exterior of a Camaro. The guys are taking their time and doing stuff the right way, not just trying to rush parts out to the market like other seem to be doing. They have several very cool parts getting finished for their SEMA car. If I get the "OK" I'll let you guys know what to expect from them. I just don't want to upset anyone at RK Sport.

Don't think so. I believe it was over either fiberglass or a plastic shell. Not sure of exact compound. It seamed very light weight.

well i just looked at there site, i have an idea of what they do. so i can say they are not doing wide body. plus they are very limited on cars. no honda or scion and those are the most driven cars. saw camry. lol some of there kits looked nice but some were ugly. might have been the car
