Great experience with dealer in CT

I get nothing for posting this. Just thought others might like to know.

I had great experience with the dealer below. They sell for MSRP but I was able to talk them a couple hundred below (YMMV).

They were upfront with their allocation situation. When I ordered in June they told me it would probably be delivered in the August time frame. I picked the car up Sat 8/22. The price at delivery was the price promised - no BS.

Before I got the words out of my mouth to tell him not to put dealer logo on the car he said "We don't put those on our Corverttes and Camaros"

They also left the front plate holder off (without me even asking). Of course they would put it on if you wanted.

Tell him "Mike with the black 2LT sent you":

Actually below MSRP- Thats the first time I've heard that and its good news. I paid MSRP and my Camaro is worth every penny to me. I bought from Richard Chevrolet in Cheshire, Ct. and have nothing but good things to say about them, plus they know their Camaros.
It will be nice to see some of these "Retail plus" dealers get stuck with their Camaros for a few months.

I know how you feel. Richard Chevrolet was the 5th dealer I went to before I felt comfortable. They knew their Camaros and were up front with me. My Camaro SS was in my garage 8/21. No hassle, no problems and at MSRP.

I know Myold didn't get a good feeling from them, but both ssjoe and I got ours from O'Neils in Avon for MSRP and felt they were great to work with and had no problems what so ever.

Thanks again Mike! I went down today and test drove one of the camaros

Kevin metioned after i did, that you also had a problem with the HID lights? They were aimed a little low for your liking or something? He said you had found a fix.

I am on the fence about the RS package, i had a car with HID and i hated that horizon line that it cast on the road, where everything above was dark, it always seemed it wasn't aimed high enough. It was low on the driver side and higher on the passenger, kinda irked me. Anyone have the RS have that issue, or there lights looks like this?

Yeah, there is a headlight alignment procedure in the manual. I found a wall one a level surface and found they were indeed a bit low. One turn of the screw on each light and it was much better.

With the hids there is definitely a sharp "cutoff" with the light. High beams are absolutely amazing though.

Glad you guys had good experiences with dealers in CT. I ordered my camaro in April. I live in Northeast CT and honestly could not find one decent dealership around. I went to pretty much every dealer within 45 minutes of my house and finally settled on central in west springfield, mass.Best car buying experience I've ever had and I recieved my camaro on July first. One dealer estimated that if I ordered it in April they wouldn't be able to get it to me until october!
