How hard is it in install the GFX package

I am thinking about buying th GFX package. How hard is it to install or should I get it professionally installed.

Also anyone know where to get a good price on the GFX package.

Thank you

I can tell you this, it is a two person job, but it can be done in ones garage. You will need a rivet gun (I think my dealer used plastic rivets) and something to cut the exhaust tailpipes. Also need some good pre-cleaner for the areas where the two sided tape is attached and a drill with a 1/4 inch bit. The front and back are the two pieces that have the two sided tape. The sides do not. BTW, the instructions state the wheels have to come off. My dealer only removed the front two.

Sorry? How come you have to cut the exhaust tailpipes? Don't they fit in the new hole?
Also does it just fit over the existing body pannels or do you have to remove anything?

Thanks for the help.

The exhaust pipes are angled to match the angle of the rear fascia. The black portion of the rear fascia comes off and is replaced with the GFX kit. If you do not cut the pipes, they will hit the metal on the GFX and cause a terrible rattle. Basically they are cut so there is no angle and are straight up and down. The GFX kit comes with covers that are attached to cover up the cuts. Besides the rear fascia, both rocker panels are removed.

To tell you the truth, I wish I would have installed them myself. The techs that did mine were horrible. I was just under my car last night and had to tighten a few screws and bolts.
