ok.. can SOMEBODY set me straight on this... as far as i know the Window Tint law in Texas for the front side windows is nothing less than 25%... right??? salesman at Classic told me the darkest they go is 35%..

Questions

What is the Offical Legal Limit of the front side windows in TEXAS?

Has anyone got there window tinted @ Classic what was the Price, did u get 25% or are they only doing 35%..

would greatly appreciate it if someone that has been there and gotten it done would help me out... thx

Texas is 25% on the two front windows. Louisiana is 40%

It also depends on whether or not they enforce it where you live. Where I had my tinting done (Edmond, OK) they don't enforce it so most people go with 15% or even limo

I think TX law changed (in 2003?) - it was previously 35%.

Yes, the legal limit is 25%. BUT...Classic is correct by only installing 35% tint on the factory windows. Go look in the corner of each window on your Camaro...they are already lightly tinted from the factory - 70% VLT. If Classic puts 25% tint on top of glass that is already cutting light transmission to 70% then, when combined, you will be below the legal limit of 25%. They are just looking out for you. Most legitimate tint shops are going to tell you the same thing as Classic.

I had mine done at Classic..........it was 199.00...........
They did a great job as well...........
