Anyone have a Vitesse Throttle Controller with their supercharger?

Been reading these posts on the Vitesse throttle controller. People seem to get quite the kick with these things...and even though they don't truly add power...it seems the seat-of-the-pants fun factor really goes up with it.

Has anyone ever added this to their supercharger set up? In particular...a positive displacement supercharger? Some PD chargers can have some rather instant and brutal power delivery to start with. I wonder if adding this controller that only serves to open the throttle even quicker might really turn a PD blower into a light switch and fry the tires at every throttle blip.

On the other hand...I have read reports where some of the bigger blowers that run at lower rpms (like Whipple and Kenne Bell) have a bit slower power build than blowers that run at higher rpms (like the Magnuson). Maybe this throttle controller would be a nice add on for the Whipple and KB?

Just want to hear from those of you who may have played around with these things...

Yes, I do. Just added the ADM Supercharger kit. Once it's tuned, I'll be trying it out.

Well...I ordered one of these things and will be giving it a shot with my KB this spring. After reading about it...I can see that you can go both ways with it...have it open the TB faster AND slower than stock. So this might be a nice little tool for a blower to control launches and traction. For $180 it was was worth the experiment to me. If it turns out to be too aggressive to add on to a PD blower then I'll sell it. It seems the NA folks have been loving these things and I bet they'd be easy to sell.

Does this mean I don't have to buy a Tuned Throttle Body ....just the throttle controller ???? Thanks

I have 475 na rwhp. Installed tc set to level nine and let clutch out went stright too 5grand and started spining. Turned it down to 6 and it was controllable. I would imagine with a PD blower this thing would not be worth it.

The Throttle Controller will make the Throttle Body Blade open faster so it will let more air in a lot faster and for Supercharged engines, it will make it Spool faster !

A lot of ZL1 owners were extremely happy with this mod. Manual and Auto.

Anyone else with FI have this yet? I've been reading about this but I have not read many guys with a FI set up getting this. After my maggy was installed the response got much better but I am wondering what the difference for FI guys would be if any.

I installed 1 about 2 weeks ago. I have an ECS kit with 740 rwhp. Big difference in throttle response set at 9.
