SW Chambered or Borla Atak or Corsa
Hey guys I recently purchased a 2014 Camaro SS and am looking to get some mods added on my car. I am planning on getting either CAI or Rotofab cold air intake, getting Solo HFC's and am stuck between Stainless Works, Borla Atak and Corsa Exhaust systems. Mine's L99 and I have Range device so AFM is not an issue. I am not looking to get header's anytime soon as I would like to keep my warranty. Can you please suggest with all above mods which exhaust will sound good. Im looking for that deep growl and loud and not that raspy sound. Thanks

I've had my Borla Atak exhaust on for a year and a half and i love them. I know many people that have them on too and not one complaint. Can't go wrong with them. Good Luck on your decision.

I have head retro chambered in person with Long Tube Headers, really sounds like an old school muscle car.
There is a HUGE difference, Youtube videos don't do it justice. I mean the best way to describe it without hearing it, when people hear the car, there is no mistaking what kind of car is making that sound. It's amazing. |

Yes I know the video don't do justice but I live in a very small town and I don't have the chance to hear different exhausts in person as its not available here so unfortunately I have to make my choice through youtube videos. I heard a lot about SW but since its 3" and the stock is 2.5" will it work?

The SCCA one abides by certain restrictions in a race series, so it's nothing that I would normally suggest to anyone outside of needing it in the race series. If you want just the catback system, the best one is the factory connect. I'll send you a link since if I post it here it's considered 'advertising,' which I can't do on a thread like this.

Love my Borla ATAK catback. It only gets better with headers and a cam.

I have the Stainless Works. My Friend has Borla ATAK. I can try and post a video later to help you decide. Im at work right now.
But aside from the videos I can tell you my stainless works exhaust is deeper than his Atak exhaust. The SW exhaust is deep and it does get loud when you get on it. The Atak is more popcorn like to me, kind of raspy, but is loud also. But it does sound like a freakin nascar when my buddy is WOT. to my offense I have no idea what mine sounds like WOT cuz im never behind my car lol. Its a toss up. I can tell you he likes his but has had thoughts of getting rid of it after he heard mines, corsa, and billy boat. He really wasn't sure about his Atak until he got his headers which made it sound waayy better. I like mine and I dont even have aftermarket headers. So just imagine SW with headers

Here is about as good of a comparison as you can get without it being in person. Same equipment, same location. The ATAK was filmed before the Stainless Works. You will notice that the Stainless Works seems quieter. That is not the case. We initially tried to film the Stainless Works at the same audio levels but it peaked out and we had to turn them down. In person, the Stainless Works is a little louder.
