Auto - Leather shift boot + adding guage pack - use standard console?

I have an L99 and I ordered the leather shift boot for it. I understand that it doesnt fit perfect (leaves a little space at the front of the leather boot.) I am also thinking about adding the four gauges in the center console. So if I order the manual center console would it work with the automatic shifter and manual boot?
