Ordered 1SS - Question about Window Sticker Online - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey guys,

My camaro should be here in 2 weeks!

I ordered a 1ss/rs l99 camaro and bought the car in houston, TX

Now, I look online and it says on my online window sticker, "LICENSE PLATE FRONT FRT MOUNTING PKG " is included.. I dont remember adding that.. I dont want a front license plate! Is there somehow I can remove the front plate if it comes with it already on there??

My residence is in houston, tx but I go to college and will be driving my car in louisiana where they dont require a front license plate

some1 please help

Just tell the dealer NOT to install this when it arrives, I believe the dealer installs it when it arrives.

Manditory in Texas just speak to dealer And remind them multiple times not to install period. Make sure and remind them right before it's delivered.

My dealer was cool about it, before I could even finish asking him not to install it, he said "Don't worry, we don't put them on Camaros. We'll stick the bracket kit in the trunk."

Your dealer most likely will give the same response, just be sure to mention it to them before delivery.

Consider yourself lucky.... our online sticker doesn't show a sunroof which we ordered.... not good!

I agree...the dealer does the install. Just make sure that you email or speak to yours alesman and be very firm about your request. Also request no deal badges...

Yeah I talked to him and he said they wont put it on so its a relief. also i asked him what octane gas they put in all theyre cars and he said 95 % ? i heard rumors some chevy places put 87 which caused the ecu problem with the l99's so i guess its a good thing i asked
