102mm NW vs Ported Stock TB
Hey Guys,
I'm in the process of doing heads, cam, pulleys, etc on my ZL1. I'm trying to decide if want to do a ported snout with a NW 102 or ported snout and ported stock TB. How big of an increase in HP and throttle response can I expect from the NW over a ported stock unit with supporting mods? Appreciate your feedback whether it be positive or negative! Thanks Last edited by 14ZL1M6; 02-11-2015 at 09:22 AM. |

I think the most cost effective option would be a Bo White ported 90mm LS3 t/b for your build.

It will work with tuning. I'm selling a ported stock LSA 87mm t/b if you want to go that route. A LS3 is 90mm for reference.

What is the ZL1 stock before the porting? 80mm?

Upgrading to a ls3 is a nice gain on a built motor. I saw a 14rwhp gain on a built zl1. Im running the ls3 on my 417 lsa blower combo. Runs great. Im going to port the throttle body and polish it and port the snout next.
