next Model Year guys.... 2011 camaro... anyone have an idea when it will be available for order or when actual production may start?
I had just read the thread about the new additions and constraints, and it was stated that SS camaros would be constrained until next model year? |

... no, they are not gonna stop production on the hottest selling car in America until late 2010. I don't know what you read, but you probably misunderstood it.
Edit: I'm saying that you can still order a 2010 Camaro, the 2011s probably wont be available for order until mid to late next summer at the earliest. (thats just what I think, no hardcopy proof). The constraints you probably read refer to certain parts that GM is unable to fill the demand for as of right now, so those specific parts are restrained.

Hello!
|
Typically it's in June or July and they roll out in Aug or Sep...though with the Camaro, not really sure as this is a 2010 and it started production a few months early.
I'd say you could place an order for MY11 in June or so. The constraint isn't a full on "hold on SS models...just a reduced production...if you want the car there are plenty of them on lots and even for MSRP...you only need to search and you can get what you want. |

![]() ![]() ![]() :r olleyes:Feel free to disagree with any of my rants above..... but I still want my V8 SS model Camaro, however if "they" will reduce production of V8 model's for whatever "REAL or UNKNOWN" reason, There are several people that will buy available V8 cars from other manufactures, to avoid this "Real or Perceived" Marketing/Gov'ment intervention!! Thank you and Good night!!! |
