ABS wheel sensor
I cut a driveway to short and dropped the left wheel off into a ditch/curb. I noticed that the ABS light is now on. I found no other damage but in checking at the parts store for a wheel ABS sensor you have to buy the whole hub assembly and its about $140. Has anyone ever had the hub apart on a manual 1994 3.4 Camaro. I wondered it I could have broken a wire or electrical connection. The ABS is not that big of a deal to me but I'd rather keep the car in good shape but would rather not have to spend a $140 plus to fix it. Any info would be appreciated.

Check inside the wheel well and make sure the wires that run to the hub didnt get damaged. They run along the lower a arm.

Thanks that makes sense. I don't drive the car a lot and haven't had it on a lift to inspect the underside real good.

sometimes the sensor plug will come loose or lose its connection and flag the ABS light. check the connectors and clean them as necessary

Thanks CamaroSpike23 I'll check the connections. I haven't taken the tires or wheels off myself on my camaro as I haven't had problems with car in the last 4 or 5 years and only put about 5000 miles on it a year.

Well I was wrong on which wheel activated the ABS light. I had to check the code and found it was right front. Sure enough it had a broken wire and I got it fixed. Thanks a lot this is a great forum.
