Local dealer hounding me to check out a 2ss even with markup

So i have feelers out to all the local so cal dealerships and one called me last week saying they had a yellow 2ss/rs manual, so i asked price and they are marking it up 5k, so i laughed and told them no thanks. They continue to call me every day about the damn things, so i am going to tell them i will give them 1k UNDER sticker or to leave me the f@*k alone. Seems to me they cant sell it with the mark up should be a clue to them.

Good for you. Hold your ground. Don't pay over MSRP!

If you are serious about buying one, Paradise Chevy in Ventura has two 2SS @ MSRP. They are a big dealership and have lots of people who ordered and some of those people backed out of the order as is the case with the two SS they have now.

Good luck finding a dealer in SoCal who will sell $1k under MSRP.

that's nothing.... Team Chevrolet in Vallejo has been calling me trying to sell 2SS cars at 10K over MSRP....

and somebody that I saw on base (Travis AFB in Norcal) is driving around the first one they got.... meaning he probably paid over 50K for it.... IDIOT.... I laugh everytime I see him...

They had a CGM with the 21" wheels there about a month ago...it looked awesome! A friend of mine is ready to buy so we called Paradise Chevy during lunch break today and were told the RY and SIM are sold. Friend is bummed out. At MSRP, they'll go quick around here.

You'd better make a trip north pretty quick and put your deposit down ASAP. They have a lot of sales people there and each one have his/her own list of people to call when a Camaro becomes available because the buyer drops out. How do I know, I am there every weekend!!

The only problem i had with the 21" wheel CGM was it was an auto, i wont drive a muscle car with an auto tranny. But scott just called me and i put a deposit down on it so 9/09/09 the car will be MINE!!!!
