Rock Star Status Withdrawal

Rock Star Status Withdrawal a.k.a. 5th Gen Camaro Withdrawal

So I was driving my "other car" today ('98 Chevy Malibu) and I noticed that no one was looking at my car - I had gotten accustomed to the attention the Camaro brings. I almost got insulted but then I remembered, I'm not in my Camaro. I miss my Camaro I can't wait to get home!!

Anyone else have another vehicle and have gone through this?

I've been driving my Blazer the last couple of days.
The first day I was like, hey this is kind of nice not having
everyone looking.

Today, I am over that!

Yes, but when I'm in my other car I just smash my "moobs" up against the glass so people will take notice.

I LOVE BEING A ROCK STAR in my Camaro...

Once in awhile my husband takes my "baby" to work, and I just feel "so ordinary again", driving his car, even if it's not his dd, but our '95 Corvette, the attention is GONE...:(

NO car can duplicate the "rock star" attraction that the new Camaro brings, IMHO...

I know how you feel. I once built a Custom Coupe, everybody would wave and give me the thumbs up when I was going down the road. I sold it a long time ago, and havn't had that feeling since. I long for that feeling again, and my new Camaro will certianly provide it. Here is a pic of my Coupe. SO I know how you feel.

I am just getting use to it. It's wild. I also love how every car including mini vans want to race you. This car does some strange things to people!

I'll say this about the attention I get, when I go to car cruises I field so many questions that I actually get tired. I should ask the car dealer to hire me as a salesmen. I could prolly sell 2 to 3 a week working two nights just taking my car out and having fun.

But I agree, I have a Tahoe and a Cobra. I am like "Clark Kent" in those. Completely inconspicuous.
