Zl1 conversion fog light wiring harness
I am installing a zl1 front bumper on my 2010 2ss/rs. I already have wiring for the drl lights but what is everyone doing for the zl1 specific fog lights? I searching and not really finding an answer to this. Is it possible to get the zl1 headlight switch that controls the fog lights to work with the lights in my ss? I would like to keep a factory look to everything so I don't have a bunch of aftermarket switches in my dash.

Gen5DIY
You can contact Gen5DIY and they will make you a harness specifically to what you want.
As for using the fog light switch, I am not sure as I had an SS RS to start out with. So my fogs just come on when ever I have my head lights on http://www.gen5diy.com/PnP_harnesses...light-harness/ |

I have 2ss/rs myself. I already have a kit to have my halos as drl and everything on when lights are turned on at night. That is basically how I want it to work but with the second set of fog lights I am leaning towards running seperate from the rest of lights. So basically is what I want to do is a seperate harness for those lights install a zl1 headlight switch to run those fog lights seperately just so I don't have aftermarket switches in my dashboard. I want everything to look like it came from factory this way.

From what i was able to gather, the fog lights are being run thought the BCM, and thus if you did not have fog lights to start out with you can not run them exactly OEM.

You may be right it might not work exactly like oem but the original switch is still a switch. I would think it would still work if you know how to do it.

Couldn't you have the BCM reprogrammed to add the fogs? I have a tuner but is that just for the ECM? I too want to get the ZL1 integrated fog lamp switch in the middle of the existing headlight switch. Already have the ZL1 front end. Just not sure best way to make them actually work.
