I live and drive in Western Suffolk County on Long Island, NY...I have owned my Camaro since 5/19/09, and I have only seen 1 on the road so far...it was a CGM at night, so I didn't get to see the effect of the car driving down the road for me to gaze "lovingly" at

I can't watch MYSELF drive my car...

I just can't believe I have only seen 1 other 5th Gen since May....

Where are you, people of LI????...I want to see another Camaro DRIVING down the highway...

I do like still being a "ROCK STAR'' at this point, but it would be cool to see another on the road to wave to...

I just checked and there are 27 members in my Long Island Social Group on this forum, so tell me, WHERE ARE ALL THE LI CAMAROS?????....:(

I am on LI, in the Bethpage area. I actually saw your car one day on Northern State, we drove next to/following each other for a few exits, but you were not driving, a man was... I know it was your car due to the license plate etc...

I was actually looking for somewhere to drove to tonight, but seems the weather has everyone inside... ohhh well, got nice out now, maybe i'll take a drive.

That was my husband driving home from Lake Success...he took my car to work that day and he DID SEE YOU...he took a picture for me with his cell phone...we were both so excited, since we haven't seen any others...

What a "small world"...if you want to pm me your email address, I'll email you the pic he took for me of your car driving down the road...lol...

I am in Port Jeff and drive my car everyday. I havelvillee an office in Patchogue and drive to Melville and Central Islip all the time.

I also go to Bald Hill Tues nights.

I'm still waiting on my order, but a few days ago I saw a black SS(I think) on vets hwy by the lie, any one of you guys? I saw it in my rear view and if I stared any longer I would have probably hit the car in front of me.

Edit: As a side note has anyone ordered from Buzz Chew Chevy? I was told there was allocation but I've been waiting a little over 2 weeks to change from 1100.

i have seen a silver one on sunrise highway i think its croathlete not sure though maybe he can confirm....

Arnold Chevrolet has me on the waiting list somewhere in the teens and impatiently waiting for the allocation

Can't wait to join you in being a Long Island Rock Star!!! I'm currently waiting (impatiently) at 3300 - with a TPW of 9/7! Hoping to have my car by the end of the month if not sooner.
I'm in south eastern Nassau and I'm starting to see more on the road now - actually saw 2 today not far from my home.

I already met Jarvis59 at a car meet in Oakdale last month...they have meets there every Thursday night...we were the only 2 RJT 5th Gens and we "stole the show"...it was terrific.........
I'm probably close to where you live...pm me your town if you want...
You will LOVE being a ROCK STAR...it never gets old to me...I feel like it's Christmas morning every time I get in and "drive it like I stole it"...LOL...
