Finished Polishing my car! Black!!
Well it took me a total of 3 different days, a grand sum of 15 total hours between cutting and polishing and glazing and waxing.. But I got it down!
I clayed the whole car too! I started with the hood, wasn't sure how long it was going to take and figured well I can't have just 1 nice panel so I ended up doing the whole car lmao. I don't have much else! Don't judge on the products I used lol, I think it came out great but I don't have many photos or videos. If you want to recommend better stuff I'm all ears. Here's what I used! http://youtu.be/OGsUVJxmriM not sure why but the youtube video isn't linking properly :/

Yup! Takes a long time. But it's so worth it! Looks amazing! I always find it funny when people tell me they washed, polished, waxed and glaze their car in 2 hours. Lol...I'm always like you didn't do it right. Great job!

3 days ? that's dedication.
unfortunately I can't do the same as the oak trees are flushing out after the recent leaf drop. this means several weeks of that yellow / pollen / dust that coats the car. looking out the window at my black honda and it is just sad. not even worth it to rinse. until the oaks finish the spring growth spurt any detail effort would last about 48 hrs. : ( nice job. time well spent if you ask me...

Looks Amazing!!! So worth it. Used some good products also. I would recommend Blackfire Wet Diamond Sealant. Easy to use. Lasts a good amount of time and looks awesome.

Nice work. A thorough polish and wax job can span three days, so don't worry. As you progress with your methods and/or as your paint requires you can cut down on the amount of time needed to prep and finish a detail job.
The end is always satisfying.

One question I do have if anyone can chime in, I used Chemical Guys orange Hex logic pad for cutting and polishing, should I have used a different color pad for finishing polish?

For the finishing polish you could've used a black or green pad. Sometimes the colors are confusing, so going forward look for pads labeled cutting, polishing, paint-cleaning or finish polishing, and waxing if you wax or seal with the pc.

have to use my brother in laws garage since mine doesn't have the room to maneuver in. do one full day allowing the sealant to sit over night and finishing with a couple layers of wax the next morning. go from dawn say 6 am til midnight, then 6 am til 1 or 2 the next day. Manage to squeeze it all in.
