clay bar and flat black rally stripes
just wondering. about to do the whole zaino package this week, and wondering if any body knows if its ok to clay bar the rally stripes, before using the polish?

hmmm..don't take my word for it...
but the clay bar is non-abrasive...so I don't see how it could hurt..just be careful along the edges disclaimer: I do not represent Zaino in anyway and I'm not 100% educated on all their products. |

I was under the impression that the clay bar was used to remove impurities from painted, cleared surfaces.
I did the whole Zaino process but DID NOT clay bar the stripes. Ive used the Z-2 and Z-5 on the stripes with no problems jsut didnt want to take any chances with the bar. Just my .02

i clayed my car and i did the stripes. the same junk that gets on the paint gets on them too. it didnt hurt them in any way.
