NT05

Who here has run these? What did you think?

I have 20X11 in the rear, and it seems there aren't many DR tires that fit the 315/35/20.

This car will only see the track maybe a few times, the rest is on the street. So should I stick with the NT05 or the NT05R? What is the tread life actually like?

Thanks everyone!

That is actually not too bad. What kind of rwhp are you running? How well do they hook?

They will go 15k. They aren't mickey's and wet spots aren't a problem! I even played in snow! 492 rwhp on a land sea dyno.

I have the nt05r's on an 11 inch wheel. I have about 4000 miles on them so far and about half tread left it looks like. I don't track them though. I have a different set up for the track. I am a pretty aggressive driver, so I don't nessesarily baby the tires. They do hook up pretty well on the street in dry weather. I steer clear of rain and wet conditions best I can though.

11000kms and 680 rwhp. They are almost done. The inner groove is almost smooth haha. But I'm very aggressive. Only about 10 passes down an. 1/8 mile. Maybe 5 burnouts on the street. But lots of power slides. I'm unsure if I'll get them again. But my blower and 3.91s are make sticking very difficult.

This thread is great timing for me, I am stuck between the M/T 305/35/20's and the NT05R's 315/35/20's.

So that is like 7,000 miles? I'd be pretty happy to get 15,000 miles out of them. We are pretty close in rwhp, how do they hook in 2nd at WOT?

This is exactly what I am looking for! It is about to become my second car, with a truck as a main DD. I just want something that I can finally put the power down on the street/track. Because as of now some races have been closer than they should of been because im spinning.

I was looking at the 305/35/20 as I might be able to squeeze that onto my 20X11. I just love the look of the width of a 315
