Average Mileage per Year

So I worked out my 60M/160KM powertrain warranty to be valid for 32,000km per year for 5 years. This will cover me for the duration of my loan. I got my car April 6th, 2014 and I just rolled over 31,000 KM. My question, what all is covered under powertrain warranty. Is it anything that makes the car DRIVE? (engine, driveline, brakes, wheels, etc? what if the ECM goes out on it? that would cause the car not to function. Thanks.

That's funny! I'll hit 100,000 MILES when you hit 7500! by the time you hit 100,000 miles, I'd be at 1,333,333 miles.

Look at the warranty section (or separate booklet) included with the owner's manual. If you lost that or didn't get one with the car, download it off of the Chevrolet website. It will tell you exactly what is covered.

Canada uses the metric system so they go by kilometers instead of miles.

"Powertrain" is generally engine and transmission only... covered for 100,000 miles or 160,000 km, depending on your county's measurement standard. 36,000 miles/ 60,000 km is how far the OTHER mechanicals are covered for.

I was stationed near Junction City, Kansas, a few years ago. The law at the time (perhaps still, I have no idea) was that all used cars had to be sold with a warranty.

The vast majority of used cars sold in that rip- off town had the following warranty: 30- day/ 1000 miles, covered 10% of the purchase price of INTERNAL engine components. No labor, not the OTHER 90% of parts cost, no coverage of anything NOT deemed "internal engine..." Yes, it was legally a warranty, but certainly the most worthless warranty on the planet.

I had a 2012 2LT RS, and drove 40,000 km (24,800 Miles) in just over 5 months. Drove my winter jeep 100,000km in 1 year. (~61,000 Miles) And I'm 21.

No, but OP IS in Canada, thus he uses the metric system. Your Camaro is Canadian too.

It's like asking you to use km.
