Front Bumper Issue

So, like an idiot... i pulled up in a parking lot and got a little too far over a parking block, backed up some and a little piece of rebar caught the underside of my front bumper and pulled it up some causing the clip on the driver side to pop out... was wondering if I should get a new bumper or just deal with the little uneveness.. ?

Here where it popped out. The little bracket that held it in broke. And it's just pushed back in worried it will wiggle it's way back out

It will eventually pop out. To help prevent that yiu can tighten up the bolt that holds it in place. Just don't over tighten it and snap the head off. Dont ask me how I know.

Appreciate the feedback, you think if I took it to a body shop they could reinforce it without leading to a huge bill? If not you think I'll have to replace the whole bumper?

Trim down a washer so it sits where the hole was and epoxy it to the underside and it should hold...i dont think much force gets put there unless you pull on it

Epoxy should work. What we usually do is try to find the other piece that came off, then plastic weld it back on. It's probably stuck with the bolt that holds the bumper corner in place. Soldering gun works great for me on most plastics. Electric or gas, I like electric because you can incrementally hit the trigger til it gets to the perfect temperature for that type of plastic. Sand off the paint in the area you want to weld, get adequate fusion (deep ), both sides, and finish it off like buttering bread. Should be good as new. Be careful not to sand, or burn the paint that shows(tape). Good luck!

Many body shops will also do this process to do this kind of repair. Definitely don't replace the whole bumper. Had a similar repair done to someones bumper by a friend who own a body shop, charged me 100 cause it took him an hour to do the whole repair including removal of the bumper.
