Bluetooth issues

I cannot get my Bluetooth to work via Audio system. Hit pair phone and nothing happens.

I got it to work once via voice using the phone button on the steering wheel but after that it would not work anymore

Anyone else having issues?

If you had it working once, then it should already be paired. If it's not connecting again, try checking the settings in your phone to see if there's some sort of auto-connect feature that may be turned off.

Also, if you were able to get it connected, General Motors should show up in your paired devices on your phone. If not, then you can pair it again. Since the option to do it via the screen doesn't seem to be working, you can also do it by voice.

- Press the speech recognition symbol on your steering wheel. You should hear a voice say Ready.
- Say Bluetooth
- Say Pair
- Search for Bluetooth devices on your phone and select General Motors, then type in the code she reads out to you and then give your phone a nickname.

That should be it. If you have problems, say where it's not working and we'll see if we can figure out what's going on.

Got the right guy. Awesome!

I tried everything you said and it still does not work. When I try it on the infotainment center it does not work and here is what happens

config, phone settings, bluetooth, hit pair phone nothing happens.

I go to list and it shows my blackberry so I select the blackberry off the list and then I get an option to hit select or delete and highlight select and push the select button nothing so I tried to delete it and start over and after I select delete I get yes or no choose select and press the select button nothing. I tried deleting it via voice and it will not delete it also.

Via voice when I try to pair it and get start search which I do and it get could not pair and this happens very quickly. It acts like a software issue.

I have another question after we get this up and running. Can I link my Garmin Zumo 550 via Bluetooth?

I apprectiate your help!

I get no passcodes and I never was able to get the infotainment to work and give me a passcode only via voice.

go to the manual and follow the steps to mate the phone to the system. if you didn't pair the phone and input the password code properly, it won't take.

good luck.

Well just got back from the dealer and it is a bad communication module on which there are two they are using. Continental (if that is the right spelling) and LG. I have the Cont. which is not upgradable and the LG is and they could not tell me which one there were going to get. The tech was great at the dealer but he had to be on the phone with GM for over 2hrs to get this done.
