Used Hell Cats at Chevy dealer already

I drove by a Chevy dealer today and notice a Hell Cat sitting out side So I pulled over to take a look ..I fond it amusing that a Chevy dealer had a used one already with only 300 miles on it with a clean Car Fax's ( no accidents ) . The sales man told me this was the 2ed one they have had so far . First thought that came to my mind was why would people be trading in them already ( not a good sing ). I started it up . It sounded real nice and the new interior looks good . I put the clutch in and put the shifter throw the gears . The gears felt slushy not real precise but all in all I was impressed . But I did not drive it . We had snow here today and the road where shit . I would never give up my ZL1 for many reasons . My Zl1 dose a lot of things very well . The hell Cat only dose one thing well . But for fun I said to the sales man how much and he says 79,000.00 firm .. I started laughing and said are you out of your mind . You can order them brand new for under 60,000.00 . He said yes but try to get one .. I said there always next year .. anyone who pays that fore a used Hell Cat is an idiot I hate car dealers ... there always looking to screw people ..

That is high as hell! Our Charger Hellcat will be here Monday and we got it for 78k out the door loaded down! The challenger is 3-5K cheaper than the charger brand new so that to me is ridiculous.

Most are overpriced like the z28 was when it first came out. give it some time. When the shelby releases and the 6th gen is released prices will drop.

Oldest dealer trick in the book. Buy one of the most sought after competitive cars to your brand and place it on your lot to get the naive public to think people are tradin them in for their brand. Lexus started it with Mercedes, then BMW with Audi, and now the US manufactures have caught on..

No ones trading in Hellcats due to dissatisfaction, they are flipping them as Dealers will pay so they can put them up for their outrageous mark ups. Doesn't matter if its Dodge or Chevy, all Dealers are unscrupulous when it comes to this practice.

dealers always put halo vehicles out front to drive traffic. it might be the owners private toy as I doubt many are running thru auctions. on the bang for the buck scale I'd get the 485hp scat pack charger as mid 12's would be power enough for under $40k. but I'm not buying any mopar due to possible quality concerns and dealership BS.

I think waiting a few years for a hellcat would be a good idea. I think they will make some adjustments sch as wider tires and also coming down in the price since it wont have that "brand new amazing car" price mark up. I could see myself in a Charger Hellcat in 2-3 years honestly.

I am a car enthusiast, not a Chevy enthusiast. I can't wait til my Hellcat is finally made. It will go well right next to my ZL1 and Cobra 500 which aren't going anywhere. kuddos to dodge for knocking it out of the park.
