50k maintenance

I bought my Camaro back in August 2009, and it's finally getting close to the 50k mark. Previously I've only owned 100k+ miles cars, so this is a new milestone for me to contend with. I know only it's a considered a good mark for some more serious maintenance.

I've been prodigious about oil changes, I replaced the HVAC air filter last year, and I'm 50% through a second set of tires. I'm not sure what to look into for this, though. Hoses? Belts? Fluids?

I would like to do two things in particular. 1) Clean the engine bay. I happen to have some Simple Green, which I've heard can be great if you know what you're doing (I do not). I imagine there's a guide out there somewhere, but I haven't found it. 2) For the last couple of years my brakes have been getting increasingly squeaky just before stopping, especially over the winter months. My braking power seems fine, though. Is it possible they just need some special kind of cleaning, or should I consider replacing some parts?

Any advice on any particular subject is appreciated.
