subs to go with the boston acoustic stereo upgrade

i love this car, i love this system. but its got no balls (with the bass). The dealer tried to sell those 6x9s in the back as the subs but i called him a fool. Anyone have the boston setup and added subs to the stock deck? It looks a little tricky to get in there.

New member and new owner too btw. Got mine 8/31/09 with 18 factory miles....in the 2 days i was driving it (on the weekend) i put 377 on it lol! love this car!

I'm going to do an install tonight.

I'm adding an Alpine 850 amp and a 12" Type R Sub. Basic box at first, then I'll move on to a custom box when I get the time to make it.

From what I understand, there are no amp outputs on the head unit. This means you have to splice the inputs from the amp in the trunk (or from the 6X9 if you don't have the BA system).

There's a sticky at the top of the page with the wire information. Aside from moving some stuff out of the way and locating the wires... it looks pretty easy.

I am putting a couple of Elemental Designs in mine along side ********s box. Also using his kit to do all the wiring as it is pretty straight foward. Although I upgraded the RCA and Speaker cables.

Steve has been real helpful, I would check out his stuff.

if you get a box and an add an amp kit from ******** it tells you how to connect everything to the BA system. I am going to get it with some new subs and amp here, just have to decide which i am going to get, but first is exhaust for me.
