F&*$ing Unbelievable!
Washed my 13 last night and left it outside. Having washed it last night..I would have noticed anything wrong with my car. Have not had her out of the driveway since October.
Walk past my car in driveway about half hour ago..wtf...effing well defined areas of scratches in my hood wrap in a 10x12" area just above where the air filter is (for reference). They aren't deep...and you can tell from what direction the object that caused damage came from. Anyhow...they aren't deep..already tried cleaning and heat..and some vvt. Any tips or tricks here or am I effed?

Worst case scenario, redo the wrap.

Not sure about your car but the neighborhood cats did something like that to my Corvette. They try and jump on - then the slick finish messes them up and the claws come out. Of course my neighbors think it's cute when cats sleep on cars.
I don't. They can go exercise their claws on another neighbors car or convertible top. I don't need the dirty paws all over my car or that oh-so-cute thing when they slide down the windshield. No offense to cat lovers meant. I like cats. Just not on my cars.

I have 400 miles on mine and already neighborhood cats are going at it. The mobile detailer here says to put a bottle or container of water next to it and cats will stay away. He's not sure why, but states they do not like it.
I might get a plastic snake and put it on the hood. Last edited by R19; 04-16-2015 at 07:10 PM. |

I know the pain. My sisters dog chased something under my car and the dog wanted under it and did over 2k in damage to mine. After that ordered a new car cover for it and in less than 24hrs later it ripped it up. Here in the ATX I am getting prices close to 600.00 to remove and replace the vinyl wrap. I am going to try to use the Adams paint finishing polish then go back over it with VRT to try and see how mine looks first because the VRT did not get all the scuffs out. If it has indented the vinyl not much you can do by what I have read but the VRT makes it look better.
Hope this may help some Video below |
