First time at the track in 2 years. Ran my l99.
Its a CAI/ headers/tune l99.
First pass ever in the car. ![]() Launched at maybe a hair under 1000rpm. Small burnout and 41 psi in all tires. I raced a h/c/i 95 vette. It supried me a lot. I talked to him afterwards and found out what was done. http://s664.photobucket.com/albums/v...90901-1825.flv Great quality vid. LOL My second run for the night. Place was packed. http://s664.photobucket.com/albums/v...90901-2126.flv Feel free to ignore my nephew (camera guy) LOL. ![]() I was planning on launching of idle to get a bit of flash out of the stall, but instead for some reason I launched a bit above 1000 rpm. The times are almost identical though with only being a hundredth off. I was really shooting for a 12.5/12.6. But with only 2 runs Im not going to complain. I dont think she had much more in her there. Next comes my stall. Last edited by rodimus prime; 09-02-2009 at 09:39 AM. |

Good runs. Conditions must have been fairly good.
What rpm stall are you going for?

It was about mid to low 70s for the first run.
The second run 3 hours later felt way cooler and the car said it was about 68. So I thought for sure I could knock 1/10th off with the better air. I botched the launch and obviously it didnt happen. Ordered a yank 3600 for it. The car shifts into 4th at the very end of the track. I didnt catch the rpm it was at, but Im going to see if they can safely stretch 3rd gears shift point out a bit more. |

Great runs. You have to be proud of that really. 12s on the street and reliable daily drive. That is very respectable. Thanks for sharing your results.

Good runs. Keep the fronts at 41 psi but lower the rear tire pressure to 26 or 27 lbs, that will help them hook up sooner.
