Wider fenders? Camber?

I just got new tires yesterday and went from a 295 to a 305 width. I kept the same height and all. It seems like every small bump my fenders rub the tire. I've seen people on here running 315's without complaint. So is there a good way to resolve this problem? Maybe tucking the tires further under the fender somehow? Or just going and paying for a new set of 295's?

For the photo to be straight u either have to flip it before u upload or just keep uploading and deleting until it's still straight.

I've got 315 and they stick out a bit at the bottom of the fender. Not worth complaining about for me.

Did you remember to change the offset?

New wheels will do it, with a bigger number on the Offset # , it comes with 40 mm on the rears , you may have to go with 45mm if that's enough
But one has to be care full , or the backspace will be the problem then

You can camber them in a little if you want, but may look funny or cause premature tire wear...offset could possibly be changed since you need to bring in the wheel (you can check with wheel repair place and see if they can machine some of the inner hub area off) but it depends if there will still be enough strength in the wheel

You need different rims. Offset is whats causing the problem now. I run 315s on 11" rims with no rubbing. Some guys are even running 12s.

Google "wheel offset"...good pictures. Basically if you didn't change the offset but increased tire width you're adding extra on each side of the wheel and its filling up your wheel well....negative offset will be a shallower wheel from the lug nuts outward that fits inside the fender....but be careful not to offset too much or you'll hit the Inside instead.

I have 315's and had the same problem for almost 500 miles before I went and ordered coil overs. I recommend you do the same. That way you can raise it and not worry.

I run 315 on ZL1 wheels and I have no issues at all, it's all in the offset

You aren't at stock ride height are you? I can't see my tires ever hitting my fenders with the gap they have from factory height.

How much did you lower?
