Meh, I'll take the stock GT350. Carbon wheels and parts is not worth my money. Put sticky tires on a regular GT350 and it will perform as good. this car is gonna cost like 100K or what?? 39 unit!!!!

Only 37 GT350R's? Not one will ever see a track so what's the point? Its a poster for the pill's bedroom...

If you read the article they are doing it as a commerative 50th anniversary deal for the GT350R.

"While Carroll Shelby insisted two prototype cars and 35 production models were built, most records show only 34 production models received serial numbers from the Shelby production facility. For 2015, Ford will make sure there is no confusion about the number of GT350R models constructed; 37 cars will be built in Carroll Shelby’s memory."

Here we go again. Great car but almost no one will get to have one.

Yep, and put sticky tires on a ZL1 and it will perform as well as the z/28.

I understand why.

what I am saying is that there is from all appearances not going to be anything substantial that differentiates the 2015 gt350R from the 2016 and forward cars.

the vin will be unique, and there might be some special badging or plaque on the inside, but there won't be really anything different about it. this will appeal to people who demand hyper unique cars ( or at least as unique as a limited production, but mass produced car can get)and just want the status. anyone who genuinely cares about getting a performance bargain should wait until the next model year.

Yep. Just like the 2012 and 2013 ZL1's.
