Removing the resonators is.... great!
I have a 2012 Camaro SS/RS and I recently took it to a muffler shop and asked for my resonator removed. It cost me $100, which is a relatively cheap thing to do considering the outcome. So, I took out the resonators and kept my stock mufflers and to me, it is deep and the perfect amount of loud. Had me smiling the whole way home Do you guys have any inexpensive but satisfactory exhaust mods that I can also apply to my car?

I took my muffler off via hack saw --and got a guy to weld a shiny pipe to the spot that I cut off and now I have no muffler or resonator, that makes me smile

I have a 2013 SS that I took the resonator and the stock mufflers off. Put on Flow master dual super 10s and it sounds awesome. Getting ready to do new headers on it soon...ole girl will really be talking then.

There was no mention that any cats were removed so should pass. Unless it's a state that visually looks underneath the veh then it's a problem.

Take the mufflers off . I have not gotten any aftermarket exhaust for this main reason . Unless you get headers put on from my experience you can't get any louder than removing the resonator and mufflers . All these aftermarket exhaust are too quiet and don't compare to volume alone vs the muffler / resonator delete .
