What's up with the factory subwoofer?

I noticed that the factory sub woofer is now available for $1095 on the Chevy site. What other info is know about this option? Amped? Size? Do you think it is worth it?

Thumbs down

MTX isn't know for quality components. They had a couple of years (after RF lost their top engineers) where they were producing a "good" quality product. Those days are gone again and you have several better options for the price that GM is asking for this setup.

Spend a little time doing research and read some reviews, the GM setup isn't worth the $$ in my opinion.

I also want to know where all "9" are. I even asked my dealer, he said he'll ask. Also, has anyone read the manual, the part where it has reverse sensors? Mine does not have the option, kinda ticked off lil bit...
