Just want to check and see if anyone from the area was heading up on the Hot Rod Power Tour. I will be doing the Long Haul this year with my son. We long hauled 10 years ago, so figure this is a good time to do it again. We will be heading up so we can arrive the evening of the 5th.

Can't wait!!!!

One week out, and she's up on jack stands.... Need to get a slow leaking wheel fixed. We will be rolling out on Thursday late afternoon, and heading north. Plan on getting a 4 hour head start, so Friday doesn't have to be a marathon driving day. Did enough of that last week with the trip to ADM Performance.

Are you going to make it to Ring Brothers, Friday. Im not finding the link now but there is info at the Forum section of www.Bangshift.com. Bangshift has a Hot Rod Power Tour Forum, if you're not familiar. You can find all kinds of "goings on" in there.

Good luck with the wheel. Hope you have no issues on the tour. Enjoy!

We'll be heading up from Mobile on the 8th to meet you all in Memphis. Will then ride with the Tour all the way to Baton Rouge.

So much rain here lately, I dodged storms and washed the car Monday, did some interior work last night and planning to finish that and my packing tonight. I'm leaving mid morning tomorrow to head up part way!

We are in Effingham tonight. Need to get in bed for the drive tomorrow. Good day today, killed some ciacadas (or however you spell it). No folks, nothing wrong with your car like a vacuum leak, it's the bugs! Fortunately we found an awesome car wash!

You got way more north then we did. We stopped in Paducah. It was a long day at work, but wanted to get a few hours on the road.

Hoping to find a good place to wash the car when we get up there today.
