Factory 18" Steelies and SS Brembos
Does anyone know if the factory 18" heritage wheels that come standard on the 1LS clear the SS Brembos? Or should I order some spacers just in case?

I'm pretty sure they don't.

Well the good news is the new 18" wheels I bought should fit. At least TireRack will sell it if I set my car to a Camaro SS. Guess I'll just have to put off my brake swap until I get my new tires in...

Yeah I read hay with the right offset 18"s will work, just not the stock LS ones.

I think with the brake swap it's more how the heritage spokes/surface is designed rather than offset. Going to call TireRack to confirm that the 18" wheels I bought will actually fit on a SS, but if it does then that wheel technically loses 3mm of offset, but it's got a much thinner edge than stock. Worst case do you know how wide of a spacer I can get and still be safe on the track? Or does spacer thickness not degrade performance?

I was told 3-5 MM is safe. Idk if it changes with wheel size or things like that
