Performance coils
Anybody familiar with these coils...Not sure if they are better then stock despite what it says on Jegs site cause it doesnt say the same on the mfg. website. Not fair performance coils avail for ford v6 and not chevy!

Guess i answered my own question, i called the manufacturer and the info on Jegs is not correct. It is an OE coil, not hotter and there is nothing in the works at the moment by Accel, Mallory, or MSD :(

Most say you only need new coils for boost or nitrous. Honestly though, when i ran my msd dis 2, with the 8224 coils on my cavalier the car ran more efficient. More so with the msd and the multiple low end spark, that's more than likely where the gain came from.
Coil pack alone? A bigger spark cant hurt.

unfortunately their isnt anything in ignition parts avail to make it hotter...i plan to up my spray to 150shot and a hotter spark would be nice

I wouldn't mind a hotter spark... my plugs are gapped at .026-.028, anything higher and I get spark blowout.
