Post L99 engine components location

Hi All,
Could you help me to find a good source (perhaps some kind of manual would work best) for L99 engine components location.
Gonna run a quick test related with P0010 error but I could not find anything on where intake camshaft position actuator is located :(
I was only able to find only cam sensor location for LS3 engine which is not the case.

Actually I am about to start with wiring test as I am pretty sure it could be damaged during CAI installation process.

Any suggestion would be much appreciated.

camshaft solenoid plug?

Thank you so much for your help dear friends.

Here is what I found near camshaft sensor plug (attached picture).
Since I have L99 engine I would assume it is plug that connects to camshaft position actuator solenoid..BUT..
I could not find the solenoid underneath !

HELP! I drunk 5 beers but still no luck :(
It is supposed to be on the opposite side from sensor, is not it?
I can't find it either side (((

Really frustrated
I'm in need of your help..

Unless I'm gone crazy..it looks like my engine is NOT traditional L99.

Any thoughts?
..oh..it's time to go sleep, but gotta get my stuff installed back.

In the diagram, it is part 205 (GM 12606358) and is internal. You cannot see without removing the front cover. It is the upper gear for the timing chain.

Does this picture help? I just saw your other post. When doing an LS3 conversion, you replace your L99 front cover with an LS3 front cover. You can buy an LS3 conversion kit that contains everything you need (parts wise) to convert from an L99 to an LS3.

The first picture is the L99 cover and a VVT cam. The second is of the LS3 cover

Hi blake-b

Thanks for your great support!
That's why I am so confused, I have LS3 cover while my engine is supposed to be L99
My front engine cover looks exactly as on pic#2

Well if you indeed have a L99 then for sure it will have the big cover. LS3 and all other non-vvt engines have the small cover. If your car came with the small cover, then maybe you have an anomaly and got the LS3 and auto by mistake somehow. If that is indeed the case, then you my friend, have a very rare specimen and I would definitely hang on tight to it. Have you checked the rpo codes for engine code? Was the car bought new?
