Removing the front Bowtie

I am trying to install Billet Bowties and I am having trouble removing the front Bowtie. It has two vertical tabs and two horizontal tabs and I am not sure if I'm supposed ot bend the plastic to remove them. Has anyone had any experience doing this? Any advice? Thanks.

I used an x-acto knife and put a hole in the gold
part of the bowtie (you leave the surrounding
silver). Put the hole at an angle though.
Use a small scribe or tiny screwdriver to
pop it out.
Used goo gone to get the old tape off.

Is that for the front bowtie? I am confused... I don't think I need to destroy the original bowtie in order to remove it?

I removed the metal radiator shroud to get access to the front grille bowtie. So, I thrashed 3 of the 6 black plastic push-pins trying to get them out when I was removing the metal shroud above the front grill. The little plastic "push tab" broke off when I pried them up with a scrwedriver.

Any idea where I can get new ones? GM parts? Dealer??

Let me guess, they're 20 bucks each...
