Anyone Else Dyno in At 390+ RwHp Stock?
I will be posting dyno results shortly. Just was wondering if anyone else produced these kinda #'s Stock? What could have set me apart from the crowd that seem to be dyno'ing it at 350-365 stock?
These results were produced on a mustang dyno* Last edited by Nighthawk89; 05-30-2015 at 08:28 PM. |

You have a list of mods, why are you asking to be compared to something stock?

Dyno numbers can be fudged pretty easily.
"Atmospheric Correction" is a setting that's VERY easy to change on any dyno. Also certain brands can read higher or lower on the exact same car in the exact same conditions.

Wouldnt really go by or rely on dyno numbers. Since Mustang dynos read power much lower than other dynos, they may also have a correction factor in order to show dynojet like numbers. Power numbers are all over the place, simply too many variables to be taken seriously.

This dyno pull was done when my car was 100 percent stock. Not a single mod in my signature was involved in this dyno pull. And it was held at a very very reputable shop world renowned company. I highly doubt the numbers were messed with considering the sole purpose of the dyno results were a Before/after.

I have heard of factory freaks. I bought a new '81 Z28 with the 350. Completely stock, I raced several different stock Camaro's and Trans Am's, and my car pulled them every time. I think you have a super freak with your mods!

Factory freaks are not really a factor anymore. With less humane involvement and more computer technology ......consistency level is a lot more defined then the old days.

Weird mine must have been a factory failure because I dyno'd at 350rwhp after Cai, headers and tune.
Hot and humid Southern Texas day too... |
