V6 Front Splitter Question

Does anybody know why the v8 splitter won't fit our v6? And where can I find a front splitter like this for my 6? http://www.phastekperformance.com/20...onsplitter.htm

ACT makes an excellent splitter at a very reasonable price. Someone was recently selling one like half price. I have one on mine

It won't fit because the bottom prt of our bumpers are a different shape.

The 2010-2013 ss front bumper is similar enough to the 2014-2015 v6 so that those splitter can be used though some require a bit of modification. My apr splitter is a 2010-13 ss product technically. But it fit no problem and looks great if you like the race look. For the 2010-13 v6 cars there is a lot of splitters by acs, stillen, and a few there that you should have plenty of choices. Most have similar styles to the v8 variants. If your set on a v8 style splitter you can always do a front end swap it's not hard at all. Hope this helps!

I use the ACS splitter and I like it a lot. Been thinking about adding tie rods to it but it's not really necessary, just for looks.

V6 Front Splitter Question

I would only add support rods if your going to be on track.

Yeah that would be why. I already put heavy duty washers on it because I do track every once in a while. At the same time though... how fast can our V6s go anyway :P

Since you have the RS with pirellies and a higher speed limiter I believe you can get up to 145 or 155 something like that. However the v6 is capable I running this with the right gearing and set up it'll take longer to hit that then the v8 obviously. And since the v6 needs more room to stretch it's legs to those speeds unless you got a long straight away on a road course or doing a top speed event I wouldn't worry about it much. If you want to get to that speed quicker FI is the way to go!

By 'front end swap' do you mean replacing the front bumpers? Would a stock SS or even ZL1 bumper fit on a LS or LT?

I believe the SS does but not the ZL1. I may be completely wrong.

Both the SS and ZL1 front fascias from 2010-2013 fit 2010-2013 V6's. not completely sure about the 2014/2015 refreshes, but pretty sure they do as well. I have the ACS T5 Splitter, I like it a lot.

Awesome, thanks for the info guys. I have an LS and am tempted to do something with the front. Don't know if I should just add a splitter or replace the entire bumper with an SS or even Aggressor 2. I would like something that doesn't scream 'stock LS'.
