MSD BAP Max Voltage??

For those of you running an MSD 2351 BAP, What voltage are you running? I have heard that there is a max voltage and not to go past that. Wondering what that is. I am running Livernois dual pumps. So far my highest voltage is 17.

Also is it necessary to ramp in the voltage or can I just kick it in where I want it?

19v been working fine, long term
Been running 21v in a test car just to see if it will actually burn out the pump.

I ramped it to 19 from 17 and still have FP issues...WTF I either am doing something wrong or my pids are wrong.

Orange wire to fuse block, red wire to FPCM.

Ramp it so there is no shock to the pump. 17v is the "safe" amount. Some go 19v like was said.

This is at 19 volts, should have FP like this?

This was the best of three runs before the laptop battery died, but its actually as low as 47.

You're using up all the fuel in that darn engine!!! If FP goes any lower you're going to need more pump. The dual CTSv pumps are two small pumps, only worth a little more power than a ZL1.

That's pretty much saying the same thing as if I go any higher on the boost, I'll need more pump. Thats a bummer Was really hoping to get better than 800 out of my dual pump setup.

Thanks for all the help, as usual, you guys take good care of me.

I thought that pump with a booster was supposed to be good for 850whp.
Maybe it's the trims inside the FPCM latency ramping up to full duty. Maybe try wiring the MSD with constant power to the orange wire. That way the FPCM won't forget to go strait to 100%.

I thought the same, but I'm not following you about what to try.

Exactly right.
Im at 680rwhp with LPE kit and FIC850s pushing 100%
My BAP should put me into a more safer 85ish%
