Picking up my 1LE today! Except I got a call saying car had an accident last night :(
So yeah, bought a new 2015 Camaro 1LE 2SS/RS NAV, recaro, NPP, and sunroof.
Waited 3 weeks for it to ship from Montreal. Car finally arrived yesterday and I went to check it out and it looked gorgeous. Was told yesterday I would be able to pick it up today. Just got a call saying that the e-brake didn't hold on car and it rolled back into a green junction box. So now it needs to get repaired :( They said it was gonna take 2 weeks for bumper to come in to fix. What a great start to owning a 1LE  Will add pics when I go to see car after work and 'take' delivery?

2x on that. Seriously, I wouldn't take delivery, I would also order another one and wait for the fire sale buddy,
bad time to buy a 5th gen now holmes

Agree, kill the deal, may hurt resale if/when you're ready to sell or trade. Make them find you a new one.

I wish :( No allocation left in Canada, and literally NONE out there in the config I want... I will have a talk when I go to see car. Will be getting this straightened out today! Haven't signed any paperwork.

Looks cosmetic from pics they sent (trying to upload). But likely they'll replace bumper being a new car, gonna push for one. Telling them I won't accept if it's reported to insurance. Asked them to look for exhaust damage ad it's aligned dead on with exhaust.

I got out and went to shut the garage door and all of a sudden I hear this "clunk". The E brake must not have been entirely engaged in one of the notches and let go just slightly. The car started rolling slowly back towards the garage. Luckily I was able to jump back in and apply the brakes. From now on, unless I am in the car, I will shut the car off and put it in gear along with the E brake to ensure it will not roll away. |

Ya I know it is possible, but I have driven enough standards that I even use the parking brake in all my cars... just in case the trans slipped or something.
But yes, should have been off, in gear, brake set.
