Dealership wants to exchange my 2013 Camaro

Few days ago I received a postcard from dealer asking me to exchange my 2013 camaro for a brand new chevy with monthly payment near or below current and the reason is to reach their pre-inventory goal.

Did anyone received something like this ? Any experiences?

Sure. Dealer phishing. Standard playbook stuff. You bought from them once. Why not again? Do you think them offering the same or lower payment means you don't have to spend more?

Dealership just sent me a postcard today asking me to trade in my 2000 Cavalier for something they can put me in an equal or lower payment.
Car's been out of the house since 2008.

Wife even did a double-take on that one when she brought in the mail.

We got a similar postcard saying they want our Jeep, that it's a very valuable trade-in.

The card told us we could lower our payment, too. That would be a neat trick for a car we paid cash for 8 years ago.

The dealer you bought from probably isn't sending this junk out. Dealers are using car registration info to send these. It should be illegal for states to sell this info. It's not.

I have a relative that kept turning in her leased Honda every couple years for the same monthly payments.
She thought it was great- After 4 or 5 cars she was behind by $16,000 and where she lives (in
Ma.) she had to pay State sales tax on $16,000 when she finally got out of the contract.
I know it's not exactly the same thing but be careful out there.

it's just marketing, another advertisement. Ignore it unless you really were thinking of a new car, which you shouldn't be after getting a 2013 !!.

I got one saying how the Volt was in record demand and going for a good price.

I was like...

Its a decent commuter car that I wont likely sell...but those statements are both false.
