Painted GFX and DSE suspension kit

I painted my GFX Hot Rod black to accent the stripes, it's kind of a satin sheen not a real flat black. Also installed DSE's performance suspension pkg. which includes new coil springs front and rear with about a 1.5 inch drop and larger sway bars for improved handling. I absolutely love the way the car looks with this drop and handles great. Also installed black PC bowties, reverse light surrounds and removed the stock mufflers and replaced the round factory tips with a set of Brilliant Endings ovals. I was looking for a rectangular tip to mate with the GFX outlet but couldn't find anything to fit nicely, I think it looks better than the stock tip for sure. Give me your thoughts!

P.S. I've have owned Chevrolet products all my life including an '85 IROC Z and this is one of the best products to come from GM yet. The fit and finish on my IOM is flawless, seams are tight, interior is clean and functional and with the LS3 and 6 spd. it performs like cars costing thousands more. My hat's off to the GM design team and the UAW for bringing a great American muscle car back to the pavement!!

I think it works well since you have the stripes. Without those stripes you would have wasted your money on the paint for the GFX.

thanks for the quick reply. Another 2 question..how is the fit of the GFX especially the front spoiler as you are standing right over it and looking down..how wide or narrow is the gap between it and the stock piece that it is mounted on.
And the rear kit, any issue with the front top edge of rear skirt (right behind the rear tire) not totally flush or pulling away from the fender?

The chin spoiler fit perfectly, no gap between it and the original air dam, the back also fit as well, nice and tight with no gaps. The only complaint I have is the ss exhaust bezels have a gap between them and the rear diffuser the set in, I think they could have done a better job fitting those in tighter but I still love the look. I have seen some of the GFX on other cars that don't look as good as mine as far as fit is concerned. My dealer installed them and the tech that painted and installed them is very fussy, he said he had to ream out some of the slots and just kinda tweak a few things to get it to fit right, so there definately is some attention required when installing them to get a nice look.

Fix your tips. And possibly think about some vinyl to extend the black where it kicks up past the door to taper down to where it meets the fender in the front. I feel like the mismatched color line just makes look like cladding. Just one of those things that catches my eye (on all non body color kits) and not in a good way. Other than that, red + black looks good.

I love the DSE kit, it drops it about an 1.5" at all four corners which makes it look sinister. It does ride a tad firmer but not rough by any means and the larger sway bars front and rear really minimize body roll and keep it stuck to the road like it's on rails. Kit was a little pricey but DSE has always had top notch equipment and service.
