Edelbrock E-force Supercharger - Mods to get 525-550wrhp?
I have a LS3 with a Edlebrock E-force supercharger. I bought it with the car so I'm guessing it has the stage 1 kit, stock 3.5" pulley.
My plans were to do the following; -Edelbrock competition Intake -XS power full exhaust (Long tube headers, no cats, x pipe) with custom tuning am I able to achieve 525-550 wrhp? Last edited by 10' Camaro SC; 07-01-2015 at 11:58 AM. |

Yes what Ret Fuz said. On original LS3 Stock Kit installed ARH 1 7/8" Headers, CAI INC Intake, 3" Flowmaster AT Exhaust and Tune. It was right at 528HP to Wheels. Can't remember exact TQ number but it was close to that as well. Scratch that. Found old pic of Dyno Sheet. Wasn't too far off lol

So zl1 fuel pump, upgraded fuel rail, bigger injectors not necessary if you under 550wrp at the wheels? Is it worth changing to a smaller pulley? Or is other upgrades required when you do that? |

Well the first time yes. Then kept going. Added JRE Fuel Rail Mod,smaller Pulley, KB BAP,Pump Injectors,Cam supporting valvetrain parts was at 650's Then after year and a half or so of Fun, #5 Piston and Rod Blew and Entire Motor was History. Though numerous guys are running higher (most on Turbo's and Centris') imho and others, you start pushing past Mid 6's on Stock Bottom End with these Roots you can be on borrowed Time.
Oh and do you know if Tune in Car is the Stock Canned Tune? If so get rid of it.

I'm sorry to hear that the motor went... It's happened to me once. Not fun. So looks like 525 goal is possible with what I am planning. Anything more (550rwhp) need to do fuel upgrades. Can you do a 3.25" pulley without fuel mods? This will increase the boost barely right? |

You will want the JRE Fuel Rail, Smaller Pully, ZL1 Pump, ADM FPCM, then you can make 520+ easily without risking lean condition on cylinder 5 & 7, trust me, I am telling you this from experience.

Thanks for the advice. How hard is it to install those parts? What would a performance shop charge for install? What does the ADM FPCM actually do? Would u need bigger injectors as well? |

Don't skimp on fuel. It is never wise to run a fuel system at its limits unless you plan on replacing a motor.
