Joining the N/A crowd
Sold my blower. Going to put heads on a th400 conversion. Shooting for 10.9/7.0 at the track. There are about a half a dozen of us now shooting for it.

Is that a lower parasitic loss transmission or something?
What heads? Stock displacement? Custom cam I assume?

Ok I have to ask now..
Why did you ditch the power adder? I'm all for NA here as well, don't get me wrong, but in my case it's all about weight and balance on the 1LE. |

Something to be said, even for drag racers, for 'all motor' bragging rights.
I am definitely trying to squeeze a lot out of my N/A build, but if blowing tires loose and darg racing were my primary interest I'd be going turbo in a heartbeat.

you thinking about 3.91s in the rear end?
What about bumping to 2" headers and/ or high dollar fancy pants heads? So you can squeeze out another 10-15hp

You're kidding right? It has been proven time and time again that 2" headers cost you horsepower on virtually every stock bottom end configuration.
1-3/4-to-1-7/7 stepped headers FTW There are some nice fancy pants heads out there, but Bo has been showing off some nice port work on stock heads so ima guess he's gonna go with those. Bo, by stock bottom end does that also mean no fly cutting of the pistons?
