My dealer had a guy who was supposed to do it but he apparently couldnt make it and they had to get someone else, he did a great job on it.

Sounds like it was one of those deals to get things going they were having dealers install them. Now that they are into full production and have any kinks worked out they are doing it at the factory. It simplifies it to, to many stories of people having to wait for the dealer to get them done or even having to go to another dealer to get them done.

Can blame them for making this move. These stripe's are not easy to install and there are some bad installers out there. Ive seen some brutal one's myself stuff like lots of bubbles to not removing the spoiler to install the rear stripe correctly. Good move imo having the people at the factory putting them on.

Too bad they didn't offer gloss black from the factory, especially Bumblebee style!

I second that on the glossy black stripes I would rather have that instead of flat black anyday.

Thats correct all stripes are being installed at the factory where
before only white, grey, and the transformer stripes were.
Mine were installed at the factory and were perfect,
see the inspection sheet below.
the vendor that installs them is about 7 miles away from the
Oshawa plant and I believe they drive them there,
that could be the reason why striped cars have more
miles on them at delivery.

The dealer put the wrong color stripes on my wife Camaro but we liked them better than the ones we ordered so we kept them(flat black insted of white which was ordered on RJT)
