Dealer says was in a car show.
340 miles on odometer. Sold as "new" car. But warranty has already begun in early 2014. Said "in-service" date when taken to car show.

Got the price to $33k + TTL. Take or leave?

If they say it's "new" they should be giving you the new car warranty. Leave

New means new... not when the warranty was activated, but still new. They're trying to charge you "new", I'm sure.

The dealer has shown me carfax and its never had any owners. Their definition of "new" is a car that has never had a registered owner. They told me that the warranty began in early 2014 because it was taken out of their inventory in order to be taken to a car show. They considered it as the "in-service" start date. Build sheet from GM says the car was ordered as a "special event car."

If the car is all you want (options and such) tell the dealer to give you an extended warranty, zero deductable 3 year warranty, for N/C, especially if they are paying floorplan on it.!!!
