Can the ATS-V results show a glimpse of the camaro's ability?

http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...t_test_review/

Pretty impressive for being so close to the C7 while carring an extra 400lbs. I know its not the camaro but imo its a peak at how the camaro "should" perform.

Jeez...

The way they describe the ATS-V, it sounds like a 4-door Stingray!

Well based on stats and price is sorta is figuratively speaking. A great alternative for a vette buyer or owner that may now need more room but still want performance.

For me, it pretty much seals the deal that the Camaro SS with the 8-speed is going to be a very low 12 second car.

Of course, the version MT tests will likely be the loaded 2SS, with MRC, and large brakes, adding a good 75 - 100+ pounds over the 1SS and thus, may hurt the 1/4 mile results a bit. Even so, low 12s for sure.

Wow, they also mentioned an ATS-V+ with the LS-7... oh man, that sounds like a lot of fun. Damn, I need a better paying job!

24mpg Hwy for the LF4 in the ATS-V. Guess that's not bad for a twin turbo V6.

Any thoughts on what the LT1 will get in the camaro on the highway? I'm guessing maybe 26-27ish with AFM...

I say 26 is what they will list it as. But I'd expect close to 30 with the automatic if you're trying.

Lol... Whatever happened to the 122 trap speed? Still 6 mph off.

This car will never trap 122 short of atco in the middle of winter with a 60 mph tail wind.
