Break light is on when i turn the car off

I have just bought my dream car a 2010 camaro ss and the last few days i noticed that one of the break lights is on when i turn of the car and take the key out. The light turns off if i pump the break a few times. Do you guys have any idea how i or a mechanic can fix this ?

Here is a picture of what it looks like when the car is off: http://www.ladda-upp.se/bilder/xodmcvwvsuuhn/

Congrats and welcome to C5!

Not my area of interest/specialty....food for thought;

Stuck peddle or relay? You'll need to find a good electrical mechanic or do some research on Camaro break system/wiring and start troubleshooting. I'm unfamiliar with vehicle transactions outside the US, but if you purchased from a reputable shop I would certainly have a few words with them about repairing it.

Most likely it's because your brake peddle is triggering the 12v to keep your brakes on and somehow when it's released it doesn't release the brake all the way resulting in your dilemma here. Find where the signal is triggered where you step on the brake to activate the lights and you found your culprit.
