Rear Brakes

I've read several post about upgrading our front brakes and rotors with either the CTS-V or ZL1 Caliper and rotor set. My question is, is there any room for improvement for the rear, now before some one gets on me about the rears being sufficient, I get that but there's always room for improvement. My question is; could the front standard 4 piston Brembo's be moved rearward and the actual rear brakes moved onto another project??? So basically 6 Piston up front and the front bigger 4 piston calipers moved to the rear.
