Passenger airbag issue

I have been thinking of upgrading seats. I was going to buy covers, but now I have a passenger airbag message. If I replace the whole seat with a takeout seat will this take care of the problem? I have searched a little on the airbag issue, and parts get expensive really quick, the cost for takeout seats looks to be the way to go.
